PTFE Enveloped Gaskets
The popular enveloped gaskets are either V shaped, or U shaped.
The filler materials can be suited to the application. Asbestos free materials and rubber are the most common. For glass flanges and reactors (Pfaudler, etc) a stainless steel corrugated insert is added to the filler.
